More than 200 delegates from the VCFSE sector gathered at the iconic Blackpool Tower for a series of presentations by some largest grant funding bodies, regionally and nationally.

Social Enterprise Solutions played a major role in launching a new networking group for the VCSFE Coast called Fylde Coast Resilience where everyone is welcome.

Paula Gamester of The Sewing Rooms in Skelmersdale was the Social Enterprise Champion winner in 2019 and presented this award, saying: “I am absolutely delighted to announce that the 2021 Social Enterprise Champion is Tony Carr”.

All Social Enterprise Places are demonstration zones to show how social enterprise can transform communities. They raise the profile of social enterprise amongst the general population and share ideas with other Social Enterprise Places.

Blackpool Grand Theatre was named the recipient of the 2019 Hirst Prize for Social Enterprise Excellence.
